  LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR

Welcome to The International School of Minnesota. I am delighted that you have chosen to explore our school and I hope that you will have the opportunity to visit our campus and get to know us better.

I feel fortunate to have spent the last 20 years of my career in education, with SABIS® Educational Systems, the parent company of ISM. SABIS® brings a rich history from vast international experiences and a level of academic expertise that has grown over its 125 years of existence. Today, ISM is one of SABIS® schools across 15 countries.

At The International School of Minnesota, our community of highly qualified and talented teachers is dedicated to educating our students to be global citizens who are morally sound, socially responsible, and most importantly well prepared for a future of continuous learning and achievement.

As a college-preparatory school, ISM is committed to providing every student with a well-structured academic program that will prepare students to enter premiere colleges and universities of their choice. The program includes a set curriculum that identifies essential and non-essential concepts for each subject and grade level, pacing charts that set an appropriate rigorous pace for instruction, and an internal testing system that offers a constant measure of learning for students and teachers. Starting in Grade 6, students attend a weekly advising period. ISM's guidance and college counselor is able to personalize the attention given to each student in the college admission process.

Your child's education may be the most important decision you make. At The International School of Minnesota, we share that responsibility with you.

Sincerely,
Susan M. Berg
Director
